- Eva Longoria was one of the best dressed ladies at the 2012 Alma Awards. Her outfit was amazing but what made that ensemble work was the hair bun. Stylist Marcos Carrasquillo has recreated the hair-do and has given us the tips on how to achieve it in 6 easy steps. Photo: AP
- STEP 1: Begin by parting the hair to the side and distributing LOréal Paris EverStyle Strong Hold Defining Gel ($6.99) evenly throughout her hair. Photo: AP
- STEP 2: Divide the hair as if you were styling it as a half up, half down and brush the bottom half of hair into a ponytail, securing it with an elastic. Photo: AP
- STEP 3: To smooth out the parted halves, use LOréal Paris EverStyle Alcohol-Free Smooth & Shine Crème ($6.99) throughout the entire head. Photo: AP
- STEP 4: From there, take the top half of the hair and tease it to create volume. Spray with Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hairspray ($14.99). Photo: AP
- STEP 5: Take the bottom half of the hair and create a messy bun. Take the top half of hair and join it with the bottom half securing with bobby pins (front, back and side to side) to create a complete bun. Photo: AP
- STEP 6: To finish the look, spray LOréal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Unscented Hairspray around the head, and blow-dry the hair on a low setting to tame flyaways. Photo: AP
- Now you're ready to set the trend and make a mark at any event you go to. Smile! You're ready for the cameras! Photo: AP
